When you get married on the beach, you honeymoon on the beach! To end our week of Beach Wedding Projects, we are featuring a Honeymoonin’ Tank top for you to wear on vacation after your big day!

I made the decal with White Easyweed HTV but any color would come out great! This was an easy project to weed as well as being pretty forgiving on placement if you haven’t done a lot of HTV Projects before.

If you already have a Cricut, this project is also much more affordable than buying one, as with most of our tank tops. You can also check out our other Tank Top Projects Here!

1. After downloading the cut files, import them into the Cricut Software. After creating a new project, select Upload Image. Select the file you wish to upload and it will automatically take you to the final upload screen, where you can name the file the select Save. The SVG Files are sized so that they will automatically cut to the size you see in the photos, but if you want to change the size you can do so to fit the tank tops the way you like.

2. After selecting “Make It” Make sure to select the Mirror Mode on the cutting screen. Cut the design in your choice of heat transfer vinyl (I used White HTV) with the Iron On (for Easyweed Vinyl) or Iron On+ (for Glitter Vinyl) Setting on your Cricut, with the shiny side of the material down.

3. Weed the additional material off of the backing material so that, looking down with the shiny side up, you can see your design with the correct orientation.

4. Iron your tank top to remove any creases, then center the design over the top half of the tank top. Arrange the design shiny side up, then cover with parchment paper. Make sure to keep the parchment paper between the design and the iron.

5. Set your Iron to the second Highest setting and press the the iron down firmly on the design, not ironing but rather using it as a small heat press. I worked from the upper left to lower right on the design, pressing the iron on each part of the design for at least 30 seconds, then overlapping the last position as you move the iron across the design.

6. Remove the backing from the design, leaving the design on the tank top.

DIY Two Less Fish in the Sea HTV Iron On Koozies #twolessfish #beachwedding #weddingfavors

Koozies are wonderful wedding favors, especially for Beach or Destination Weddings! To Start off our Destination Wedding Koozie Designs, I went with my personal favorite beachy wedding saying, Two Less Fish in the Sea!

DIY Two Less Fish in the Sea HTV Iron On Koozies #twolessfish #beachwedding #weddingfavors

I made them in Mermaid Blue Glitter HTV and Jade Easeyweed HTV on white koozies; the Mermaid Blue Glitter ones are definetely my favorite! These designs are easy to weed and an easy project to make over a weekend; however, if you have to make a bunch its nice to have a group to help you weed them since that’s the most time intensive part of this project.

1. After downloading the cut files, import them into the Cricut Software. After creating a new project, select Upload Image. Select the file you wish to upload and it will automatically take you to the final upload screen, where you can name the file the select Save. The SVG Files are sized so that they will automatically cut to the size you see in the photos, but if you want to change the size you can do so to fit the koozies the way you like.

2. After selecting “Make It” Make sure to select the Mirror Mode on the cutting screen. Cut the design(s) in your choice of heat transfer vinyl with the Iron On (for Easyweed Vinyl) or Iron On+ (for Glitter Vinyl) Setting on your Cricut, with the shiny side of the material down.

3. Weed the additional material off of the backing material so that, looking down with the shiny side up, you can see your design with the correct orientation.

DIY Two Less Fish in the Sea HTV Iron On Koozies #twolessfish #beachwedding #weddingfavors

4. Center the design in the middle of the koozie. Arrange the design shiny side up, then cover with parchment paper. Make sure to keep the parchment paper between the design and the iron.

DIY Two Less Fish in the Sea HTV Iron On Koozies #twolessfish #beachwedding #weddingfavors

5. Set your Iron to the second Highest setting and press the the iron down firmly on the design, not ironing but rather using it as a small heat press. The koozie design should be completely covered by the iron. Pressing the iron on the design for 15 - 30 seconds, mine took only 20 seconds. :) I’m always a little nervous ironing koozies, so I check them every 5 second or so until the design has transferred. :)

6. Remove the backing from the design, leaving the design on the koozie. Repeat with all the remaining koozies.

I always love koozies for using up extra bits of HTV and they are the perfect favors for a beachy destination wedding! Check out more of our Koozie Projects here! :)

Welcome to the Beach Destination Wedding Guest Welcome Tote Bags #destinationwedding #diywedding #svgfiles

This week, we are going to be having some fun with some beach Wedding Inspired Wedding Projects. To start it off, I designed these two toned Beach Wedding Welcome Guest Totes.

I love the idea of giving tote bags for beach weddings, its so useful for storing towels, sunscreen, as well as more standard welcome items like itineraries and water bottles

I made these designs two toned, where the text and outline of the sea shell were cut in Black Easyweed HTV and the inside of the sea shell was cut in Gold Confetti Glitter HTV. The design itsself was easy to weed and was easy to align and layer the two colors without any trouble.

3. Weed the additional material off of the backing material so that, looking down with the shiny side up, you can see your design with the correct orientation. You should have two pieces of HTV, the inside color of the shell and the outline of the shell with the text.

4. Iron your tote bag to remove any creases, then center the text and shell outline design in the middle of the tote. Arrange the design shiny side up, then cover with parchment paper. Make sure to keep the parchment paper between the design and the iron.

I worked from the upper left to lower right on the design, pressing the iron on each part of the design for at least 30 seconds, then overlapping the last position as you move the iron across the design.

6. Remove the backing from the design, leaving the first layer of the design on the Tote Bag.

7. Now, arrange the shell HTV decal on top of the text decal, arranging it such that the shell is equally within the outline and the bottom edges of the “B” cutout is aligned with the text, as shown to the righ.

8. Cover the shell with parchment paper, then iron the shell decal on top of the existing layer, using your iron like a small heat press. Press the iron on each part of the design for at least 30 seconds, then overlap the last position as you move the iron across the design.

DIY Bride's Babes Iron On Bridal Party Tank Tops #bridesbabes #svgfiles #diywedding

Bridesmaid Proposal T Shirts are always a fun choice for brides to give to their girls for prewedding events, DIY nights, and for a general feeling of wedding camaraderie. As another option for Bridesmaid Proposal Wearables, I designed these feminine but modern Bride’s Babes T Shirt Decals.

I made the decals with White and Silver Easyweed Vinyl, using some of the leftover Tshirts I had, and while I like how they turned out I’d like to experiment with other color combinations to see what looks best!

Do It Yourself Bridesmaid Dress Getting Ready Wedding Tumblers #bridesmaidgift #diywedding #svgfiles

I always see Bridesmaid Dress getting ready tumblers on Etsy and decided to try my hand at making my own! I’ve been designing skinny tumblers lately, so it was a perfect choice to attempt a long and lean evening gown option!

I made both a light colored and a dark colored dress set and both came out beautifully! The combinations I used were: Oracal 651 Lavender Vinyl Dress with White Vinyl Lettering and Amethyst Glitter Vinyl Dress with White Vinyl Lettering. The Bride’s tumblers have lettering in the color of the bridesmaid dresses with a Oracal 651 White Vinyl Dress.

Transferring these designs is easiest in layers, similarly to the Princess Inspired Tumblers. It was far easier and cleaner to transfer the designs to the tumblers in layers as well as limiting the air bubbles from transferring and keeping the whole design smooth as its transferred to a curved surface.

1. After downloading the cut files, import them into the Cricut Software. After creating a new project, select Upload Image. Select the file you wish to upload and it will automatically take you to the final upload screen, where you can name the file the select Save.

1. Supplies with text.jpgDo It Yourself Bridesmaid Dress Getting Ready Wedding Tumblers #bridesmaidgift #diywedding #svgfiles

2. Cut the design(s) in your choice of permanent adhesive vinyl with the Vinyl Setting on your Cricut. The SVG Files are sized so that they will automatically cut to the size you see in the photos, but if you want to change the size you can. :)

3. Once the designs are cut, weed away the extra vinyl and cut a piece of transfer tape to 2.5" x 7" for the dress decal and 2” x 5.5” for the lettering. Cut away any excess backing from the vinyl design and smooth transfer tape over the design, aligning it along the top of the dress, with one set of 1/2” blocks above the decal, as shown Below. For the text, I aligned it along the bottom of the belt as shown in the pictures. Using the smoother tool, smooth the tape to the vinyl, removing any air bubbles.

Do It Yourself Bridesmaid Dress Getting Ready Wedding Tumblers #bridesmaidgift #diywedding #svgfiles

4. Now, transfer the dress design to your tumbler. Remove the tape and decal from the backing and smooth the dress onto the tumbler, aligning it along the top lip of the tumbler as shown in the photo. It is easiest to start at the top and smooth from top to bottom, center to outside edges.

Do It Yourself Bridesmaid Dress Getting Ready Wedding Tumblers #bridesmaidgift #diywedding #svgfiles
Do It Yourself Bridesmaid Dress Getting Ready Wedding Tumblers #bridesmaidgift #diywedding #svgfiles

5. Remove the transfer tape from the tumbler, leaving the dress decal on the tumbler. If there are air bubbles (mine had some), smooth out the ones you can with the smoother tool and for smaller or hard to smooth bubbles, prick them with a needle and smooth them to remove them. :)

6. Now, transfer the lettering to you tumbler. Align the text along the skirt of the dress, working from bottom to top and using the waistband as a guide on height. If your waistband is a little off, you can always trip the belt with an exacto knife, so go for overlap on the waistband.

I absolutely adore how these turned out and they are suprisingly easy to make once you’ve done one of them, so don’t be afraid! :)

7. Trace the letters to smooth them onto the dress on the tumbler, as shown above. Once the design is set, remove the transfer tape from the tumbler, leaving the text layer of the design on the tumbler. Repeat with all remaining tumblers.

Bridal Party Getting Ready DIY Iron On Tote Bag #diywedding #htvvinyl #svgcutfiles

One of the most useful things our venue provided us the day of our wedding that I never would have thought about were tote bags for us and our bridal party to store our getting ready clothes and any other personal items in during the wedding. In that spirit, I wanted to design a simple and beautiful set that could easily go with any wedding.

For my first wedding welcome tote, I went with something cute, girly, and simple. After all, sometimes simple is best and this tote can be used for any out of town wedding guest bag, not just a beach. :) I used Easyweed Gold HTV for these bags, but I would love to see them in a Rose Gold Glitter HTV! :)

What better way to invite your best girls to be your bridesmaids than with some super tasty macarons! I love the idea of having a brunch or cocktail party to invite them ,and to have these at their seats when they arrive!

Regardless, they are easy to make and great for filling with any treat, and perfect as a proposal on their own or as part of a bridesmaid box!

I chose Oracal 651 Gold and Silver Vinyl for my stickers and had my first successful macaron baking day to fill them! :) My personal favorite color combination was the pink strawberry macarons with the gold lettering!

4. Remove the transfer tape from the backing, lifting the design from the backing to the transfer tape.

5. Aligning the transfer tape along the bottom edge of the clear window on the sleeve of the box, place the design in the middle of the window. With the tape aligning the bottom, I was able to center it in the window pretty easily and its also decently forgiving if its not exactly right, as long as the bottom is aligned.

6. Smooth the design on the window, using your fingers to smooth each letter onto the plastic.

7. Remove the transfer tape, leaving the design on the sleeve.

With the sleeves complete, next it is time to fold the boxes that will hold the macaroons! It took me a little trial and error to get it right so I will share it here as well, since my boxes didn’t come with instructions. I did my best on the description and took lots of pictures so hopefully it will help you as well if you are having trouble! :)

Box Assembly

Since these boxes are the same as my Love is Sweet Macaron Favor Boxes, I’m using those pictures! :)

1. Start by folding all of the lines on the box, as shown in the photo. This will make the box easier to bend later and help you see how it goes together.

2. Taking the long edge, tuck in the two short middle flaps on the side, then fold over the wall and tuck the edge flap under the wall, forming the lengthwise wall as shown. Repeat for both lengthwise walls.

3. Taking the end flaps on each of the lengthwise walls, hook them together to form the shorter wall of the box. once they are locked in, fold the last side flap over the wall, tucking the end flap under to complete the short wall of the box.

4. Once the boxes are made, fill them with macaroons, and then slide your sleeves over the cookies to finish the favors. I would recommend making all your sleeves and boxes beforehand, then filling them with their cookies the night before or morning of your event. :)

DIY "Does this Ring Make me Look Engaged?" Stemless Wine Glass Tumblers #svgfiles #diywedding #tumblers

In keeping with the just engaged swag we are crafting this week, next up is this adorable stemless wine tumbler! “Does this ring make me look Engaged?” is so cute and this decal could easily be put on all sorts of glassware!

For my tumblers, I used Champagne Glitter Vinyl for the decal. The thin lines on the small text makes this one a little tougher to weed so while I used a glitter vinyl I would recommend Oracal 651 Permanent Vinyl.

1. After downloading the cut files, import them into the Cricut Software. After creating a new project, select Upload Image. Select the file you wish to upload and it will automatically take you to the final upload screen, where you can name the file the select Save.

2. Cut the design(s) in your choice of permanent adhesive vinyl with the Vinyl Setting on your Cricut. The SVG Files are sized so that they will automatically cut to the size you see in the photos, but if you want to change the size you can. :)

3. Once the designs are cut, weed away the extra vinyl and cut a piece of transfer tape to 3" x 3.5". Cut away any excess backing from the vinyl design and smooth transfer tape over the design, aligning it along the top of the text, leaving one set of 1/2” blocks above the top of the design. Using the smoother tool, smooth the tape to the vinyl, removing any air bubbles.

4. Now, transfer the design to your tumbler. Remove the tape and lift the decal off the backing, making sure that the entire decal is transferred to the transfer tape.

5. Align the top of the transfer tape along the top lip of the tumbler and smooth down to the center of the design. Working from the center to the edge of the design, trace the letters to smooth them onto the tumbler. Because the surface is curved, focus on the vinyl smoothly transferring than your transfer tape looking nice and neat.

6. Once the design is set, remove the transfer tape from the tumbler, leaving the design on the tumbler. Use the smoother tool or your finger to resmooth the design and to remove the air bubbles.

Totes Engaged DIY Iron On Tote Bag #diywedding #htvvinyl #totesengaged

I’m so excited that one of my best friend’s recently got engaged and it’s definitely inspired a good amount of “Just Engaged” swag. This pretty and punny “Totes Engaged” Tote Bag is the perfect gift for a newly engaged bride, or to make yourself to start your wedding DIY journey off right!

I used Silver Glitter HTV for this bag, but you could easily make them any color you like! :) This is a great project to begin with as it’s easy to weed and is almost square in shape, so it can easily be resized to fit pockets on other tote bags.

1. After downloading the cut files, import them into the Cricut Software. After creating a new project, select Upload Image. Select the file you wish to upload and it will automatically take you to the final upload screen, where you can name the file the select Save. The SVG Files are sized so that they will automatically cut to the size you see in the photos, but if you want to change the size you can do so to fit the tote bags the way you like.

4. Iron your tote bag to remove any creases, then center the design in the middle of the tote.

6. Remove the backing from the design, leaving the design on the tote bag. Repeat with all the remaining tote bags.

Future Mrs. Just Engaged Skinny Tumbler #svgcutfiles #diywedding

If theres’ a gift I like making for my newly engaged friends, its got to be tumblers! I’ve been having so much fun designing different decals for skinny tumblers lately, I decided to start off my tutorials for them with Just Engaged Tumbler! This “Future Mrs.” Skinny Tumbler is perfect as a work water bottle and the font is very well suited to the Glitter Permanent Vinyls.

Future Mrs. Just Engaged Skinny Tumbler #svgcutfiles #diywedding

For my tumbler, I used Silver Glitter Vinyl for the decal and I love how they turned out! While you have to be careful as far as the dot on the end of “Mrs.” this project is easy to weed and a fun first project for any new soon to be bride!

Future Mrs. Just Engaged Skinny Tumbler #svgcutfiles #diywedding

1. After downloading the cut files, import them into the Cricut Software. After creating a new project, select Upload Image. Select the file you wish to upload and it will automatically take you to the final upload screen, where you can name the file, then select Save.

2. Cut the design(s) in your choice of permanent adhesive vinyl with the Vinyl Setting on your Cricut. The SVG Files are sized so that they will automatically cut to the size you see in the photos, but if you want to change the size you can. :)

Future Mrs. Just Engaged Skinny Tumbler #svgcutfiles #diywedding

3. Once the designs are cut, weed away the extra vinyl and cut a piece of transfer tape to 2.5" x 7.5". Cut away any excess backing from the vinyl design and smooth transfer tape over the design, aligning it with the text and arranging it such that one set of the 1/2” blocks are along the bottom left edge of the “F",. as shown below. Using the smoother tool, smooth the tape over the vinyl, removing any air bubbles.

4. Now, transfer the design to your tumbler. Remove the tape and decal from the backing, making sure that the entire decal transfers to the transfer tape.

5. Arrange the design such that the line that you aligned to the “F” on your transfer tape is along to top edge of the lip of the tumbler, as shown below. Starting from the top and working down, trace the letters to smooth them onto the tumbler. Smooth the design to remove any air bubbles,. Remove the transfer tape from the tumbler, leaving the design on the tumbler.

DIY Bride Tribe Bridesmaid Wine Glasses #bridetribe #wineglass #bridesmaid

Every bridal party could use some fun wine glasses, and given how popular our Bridesmaid Wine Glasses have been, I wanted to add to the collection with a lovely “Bride Tribe” addition! I made these with two different options for the bride, either “Future Mrs.” or “The Bride” to go with your maids Bride Tribe Glasses.

I made these in Oracal 651 Gold Vinyl, which worked well and was easy to weed the small designs, but it never hurts to cut a couple extra decals if you are new to weeding vinyl or working with curved surfaces. In addition, its easiest to smooth the design from the middle to the top, then middle to the bottom to deal with the curvature of the glass.

DIY Bride Tribe Bridesmaid Wine Glasses #bridetribe #wineglass #bridesmaid

The SVG Files are sized so that they will automatically cut to the size you see in the photos, but if you want to change the size you can do so to fit another sized glass than the ones we recommend. :)

DIY Bride Tribe Bridesmaid Wine Glasses #bridetribe #wineglass #bridesmaid

3. Once the designs are cut, weed away the extra vinyl and cut a piece of transfer taper to 3" x 3.5". Cut away any excess backing from the vinyl design and smooth transfer tape over the design, aligning it along the bottom of the arrow, as shown below. I also aligned mine so that four sets of the 1/2” blocks on the transfer tape were above the arrow so the it was easy to align on the glass.Using the smoother tool, smooth the tape to the vinyl, removing any air bubbles.

DIY Bride Tribe Bridesmaid Wine Glasses #bridetribe #wineglass #bridesmaid

4. Remove the transfer tape, making sure that the whole of the design transfers from the vinyl backing to the transfer tape.

5. Now, transfer the design to your glass. align the top of the transfer tape to the lip of the glass, as shown below. Smooth down the middle of the transfer tape to about the middle of the design, then smooth the design around the curve of the glass from the middle of the design to the edges. I started with the heart in the middle of the arrow and smoothed outward. Smooth any air bubbles out of the vinyl, but don’t worry about the crinkling of the transfer tape with the curved surface.

6. Remove the transfer tape to leave the design on the glass. Any additional bubbles in the design can now be smoothed out with either your fingers or the smoother tool. Repeat the process with all remaining wine glasses.

DIY Iron On HTV Honeymoon Hubs and Wifey Shirts and Tank Tops #honeymoon #hubsandwifey #wifeyforlifey

What better way to celebrate your new married status on your honeymoon than with some super cute Hubs and Wifey shirts! I made two different designs, Wifey and Wifey for Lifey, because I couldn’t decide which one I liked more. Plus it never hurts to have options so you can pick your favorite too!

DIY Iron On HTV Honeymoon Hubs and Wifey Shirts and Tank Tops #honeymoon #hubsandwifey #wifeyforlifey

I made them on both Tshirts and Tank tops, mainly because I like tank tops and the hubs like Tshirts, so when we wear them they will already be our favorite kind of top! :) It’s kinda hard to see in the pictures, but I made the Wifey and Wifey for lifey decals in Rainbow White Glitter HTV and it is just the right amount of sparkly! The Hubs is not so into glitter (fair) so he got Easyweed Black HTV. :) These are great projects for beginners, nice big decals that are easy to weed and can take some heat while you are figuring out all the fun of iron on decals! :)

1. After downloading the cut files, import them into the Cricut Software. After creating a new project, select Upload Image. Select the file you wish to upload and it will automatically take you to the final upload screen, where you can name the file the select Save. The SVG Files are sized so that they will automatically cut to the size you see in the photos, but if you want to change the size you can do so to fit the tank tops and t-shirts the way you like.

2. After selecting “Make It” Make sure to select the Mirror Mode on the cutting screen. Cut the design(s) in your choice of heat transfer vinyl (I used White Rainbow Glitter HTV and Easyweed Black HTV) with the Iron On (for Easyweed Vinyl) or Iron On+ (for Glitter Vinyl) Setting on your Cricut, with the shiny side of the material down.

3. Weed the additional material off of the backing material so that, looking down with the shiny side up, you can see your design with the correct orientation.

4. Iron your tank top/Tshirt to remove any creases, then center the design over the top half of the tank top. Arrange the design shiny side up, then cover with parchment paper. Make sure to keep the parchment paper between the design and the iron.

DIY Iron On HTV Drunk in Love Bachelorette Party Koozies #bachelorette #drunkinlove #justdrunk #koozie

Nothing like a set of matching koozies to get your bachelorette party started on the right foot (or in this case, with the right drink!). To go with our Drunk in Love Bachelorette T Shirts, I decided these cute little koozies were just the thing!

I made them in Old Gold Glitter HTV and Confetti Glitter HTV on black, white, and pink koozies but I think the black with Confetti Glitter HTV are my favorite! Despite the small lettering, I didn’t have any problems weeding the designs, but keep a lookout for the little pieces to make sure they don’t come off in the weeding process (such as the openings for the k’s and s’s).

DIY HTV Welcome to Our Wedding Guest Tote Bags #weddingguest #diywedding #totebag

When you have guests from out of town flying in for your wedding, it is always nice to give them a little wedding welcome bag with snacks, water, and an itinerary for the wedding festivities! If you are having a beachy destination wedding, tote bags are a great choice! Not only are they great for holding any goodies you want to give your guests, but they can be used throughout your guest’s vacation to hold towels, flip flops, and all their beach accessories.

DIY HTV Welcome to Our Wedding Guest Tote Bags #weddingguest #diywedding #totebag

For my first wedding welcome tote, I went with something cute, girly, and simple. After all, sometimes simple is best and this tote can be used for any out of town wedding guest bag, not just a beach. :) I used Easyweed Silver HTV for these bags, but you could easily make them any color you like to match your wedding’s theme! :)
