For festive fun details that class up any baby shower, having a dapper set of signs never disappoints! Simple signs are great for getting into theme and informing your guests where to place gifts, sign guest books, and play games; so when I was helping with my best friend’s Blue Gingham BaByQ Shower, I used it as the perfect opportunity to make a simple set of easy to print Baby Shower Signs that are perfect for bedecking your next party too!
While I created game sign to explain the rules for both my Diaper Raffle Game as well as the Don’t Say Baby Clothespin game, I wanted a simple set of two for the more common shower signs you’ll need, a guest book sign and a gift table sign! While there isn’t always a guest book, there is always a place for gifts at a baby shower, and signs like these are surprisingly helpful in showing guest’s where those places are!

These simple signs were made in conjunction with signs and game cards for the different baby shower games and activities I created for both my friends’ Diaper Raffle Unicorn Baby Sprinkle and Blue Gingham BaByQ, so I created these as well as all my other paperie in two styles; pink and purple sprinkles and blue gingham.

To further simplify my signs, I designed each to be the size of a standard piece of paper, so while finding 8.5 x 11” Frames  was a little more difficult, the printing part of the signage was super easy! If you are printing them at home, like I did, you will have a white border around the outside of your sign from where your printer can’t reach, which for a darker pattern like this I thought was too noticeable so I trimmed them and taped them to blue construction paper to frame instead, while getting it printed at your local print shop you will be able to skip this and just frame them directly.

Regardless of how you print them and trim them, these signs are quick, easy and perfect for adding a punch of pattern to your next baby shower!

SUPPLIES

SIGN MAKING SUPPLIES:

Cardstock: for printing out your signs to mount in frames. For these signs, as well as all the other signs and cards in my Baby Shower Activities and Games, I included both a blue gingham pattern as well as a pink and purple sprinkles pattern to use depending on your preference.

Construction or Colored Paper: to use as a back mat for your sign if your frame doesn’t cover the printed border, like mine did!

Picture Frames: to frame your signs. I used 8.5” x 11” frames so I could print my signs on regular sized cardstock.

Printer & Ink: to print out your signs, or you can send them to a local print shop and skip the trimming and mounting to the construction paper.

Scissors: to trim around the unprinted margins of your signs.

Double Sided Tape: to stick your sign to your construction paper mat.

PART 1: PARTY PREPERATION

CUT & FRAME SIGNS

1. Download the printable signs in the pattern of your choice as pdf’s, then print them on the best quality your printer can on cardstock.

2. Using scissors, trim around the outside margin of your sign, removing the unprinted edges on all sides. Using double sided tape (or loops of regular tape like I show here), center and stick your trimmed sign onto construction paper in the color of your choice, then secure it in your picture frame.

PART 2: PARTY SETUP

At party time, place your guest book sign by the guest book and the gifts sign on the gift table with any presents that have been received so far, then you are ready for your guests!
