I originally saw one of these on Pinterest  and immediately wanted to make a “Let’s get Trashed” Can for my Bride’s Bachelorette Party! As long as you have a craft cutter, this project is super easy!

Supplies:

Office Trash Can-I found mine at Walmart
Pink Vinyl- Mine ended up coming out of a whole pack of vinyls
Silver Glitter Vinyl
Craft Cutter and Tool Set
Adhesive Mat
Transfer Tape
Let’s Get Trashed Template

1.     Using the Template Provided, cut out the words for your trash can on the silver glitter vinyl. I made mine about 11” x 11”.

2.     Now, wash and dry the surface of your trashcan so that the vinyl will stick its best. Using transfer paper (I like the Cricut transfer tape for the grid lines), adhere the words to your trashcan. I did mine at a little of a slant but do whatever you like best! To use transfer tape, take it off its backing, lay it onto the design and smooth over it to stick the vinyl to the design. Then just peel the design off its backing to be placed like a sticker.

3.     Next, make a couple different sized circles and cut them out in the pink vinyl. Once they are cut, just peel and stick them wherever you want on your trashcan!

I absolutely love how mine turned out and we ended up using it as an ice bucket in the hotel room. How will you use your cute new “trashed” can? :)

The Kinky Lemon Drop

Every new venture should start with a toast and the start of this blog is no different!

The Lemon Drop is by far my favorite cocktail so reinventing it in a new (pinker) way seemed just the thing to kick this party off! The biggest challenge in creating this cocktail was the proportions of Kinky Liquor and Vodka, enough Kinky to make it a beautiful shade of pink but not so much that you lost the tartness of a traditional lemon drop.

Once I got the perfect combination, it just needed a little more pizazz so what better way than a girl's best friend, glitter! Rimming the Glass and adding a dash of edible Disco Glitter gave it just the sparkle it needed to be a truly memorable drink for any occasion.  The sugar glitter rim ended up being a little more involved than I originally thought so you will be able to see in detail how to make that in the next blog post!

Recipe:

2 oz. Kinky Liquor
1/2 oz Limoncello
1 oz Citrus Vodka
Disco Glitter for  Cocktail
Pink Sugar Glitter for rim

1. Rim the glasses with the pink sugar glitter mix by lining the glass edge with lemon juice or water and dipping it in sugar on a plate.
2. Add Kinky, Limoncello, and Vodka to a Cocktail shaker. Shake until thoroughly combined
3. Add to rimmed glass and sprinkle the top of the drink with additional glitter, enjoy!

Note: Glitter does tend to settle to the bottom and top of the glass so having stir sticks with each glass is helpful so that guests can keep their glitter "moving" around in their glasses.
